Restriction and defining parameters can include saying a firm and caring “no” at times. It seems to include a combination of clear structure and willingness to set limits in a positive way:
Getting it together with the teach and the learn,
Hoping somehow their souls not to burn.
Trying so hard to let them learn math,
Finding at times we’re on the warpath.
Maybe I’ve got it, ’tis my fond desire:
To weave it together – the structure and the fire!
