Teacher Tips Poems: If It’s Monday I Have a Tummyache

Monday-itis

Alone time school really wasn’t so good.

I never even began to think I could.

——-

Ever since that time, on Monday morn

I do everything I can my school to scorn.

——–

I’m always just a bit sick on Monday

Or I’m mad when I get into my mom’s Hundai.

——–

I’m never ready for the first of the week

Because, you see, it’s avoidance I seek.

——–

Someone needs to show me more than just how.

And hear my hurt, yet see me through it, right now!
